About Pleasant Hill
East Side Pride
Pleasant Hill sits on the east edge of Des Moines in Polk County. It has a hometown feel, and it has grown steadily without losing the friendly spirit its residents love. Students here are part of the Southeast Polk school district, and Ram pride runs deep.
Outdoors, Copper Creek Lake Park gives the community a place to fish, walk and unwind, and nearby green spaces make it easy to get outside. It's a place built around family and community, and around the dinner table.
